After hearing abt this piece of "free" software (As of now, since it is in its beta), i thought of giving it a spin and turns out it was a big mistake. This piece of junk could not find/block any spyware, leave apart other threats that it boasts of defending u from (and hence is also changing its name to "Windows Defender" to acknowledge its wider area of concern and not just spyware)...What was even worse, it somehow slowed down my internet connection. I could easily see atleast a drop of abt 10 k"B"ps in my line and downloading was a bit fine but surfing was a pain....

Give this one a miss guys and stick with your "spybot - adaware" combo....

similar views here...

i tried it few weeks ago & although i din't notice ne drop in speeds (am on 2KBps already, so... lol) but yeah.. it definitely caused my system to hang a few times..

i advise ad-aware & spyware blaster combo... or spybot
