Well, F.E.A.R actually stands for First Encounter Assault Recon in the game but yes, it does induce a lot of actual FEAR as well, just try playing at night with all lights switched off.
The game is awesome in terms of gameplay, graphics, sound, u name it. Rag-doll physics look absolutely stunning. Its so hard filling to see the opponents flying in the air, with all limbs moving in separate directions in slow motion on being shot by the combat shotgun (Yeah, that was my weapon of choice in the game). And yes, having a good/not bad storyline helps too. It indeed is addictive. Though multiplayer aspect wasnt that good after the initial charm wore off.
Do pick this one up.
PS: Anyone of you who plays and finishes this one, just wait patiently at the end of the game for all the credits to roll by. Why? Cuz that is where the biggest surprise of the game lies.
