Just an update on the Creative 5.1 Budget offerings..

One is the ol' n tested Inspire 5200
Cost thesedays is around 4k..
high performance sub - 17W rms
rest all @ 6W each
Great value for money!

The latest one is the Inspire T6060
Cost just a shade under 5k
powerful sub - 22W RMS
improved center channel - 18W
rest all @ 8W

checked them out at a friends place & the sound production in movies and games is truly awesome.. way better than the Inspire 5200 set..

So if you are on budget.. t6060 is the set to go for..

I second Lord_PEC's advice...
Creative are the way to go if you want value for money. And couple these speakers with another value-for-money sound card from creative(audigy series) and you have got a pretty good system at your hand without burning a hole in your pocket...
