Governors of Jharkhand and Goa- What should be the criteria?

The recent acts of governors of two above mentioned states brought shame to this sophisticated institution. Now the question arises how a governor is supposed to be appointed. Can he belong to a party OR Can he take other posts after his term. In current poltical scenario the role of governor is very very important That's why parties have started to misuse their powers It can be easily seen that governor's decision is always in favour to his party if he take advantage of his post No doubt this does't hold true for all governors but still time has come to totally review the highest post of a state
Governors have destroyed the very purpose of their existence

I totally agree muskeeter u have hit the nail on its head brother.Governors from the past have destroyed for the very purpose it was made.Congress started deploying its aging guard as governors \bjp did the same and now again congress.Its like killing the democractic institutions.There should be a proper code or like only non political people should be allowed to enter the fray.The Lok pal and the lok ayukta bill's provisions should be more tightened so that corruption can be combated.

mera matlab sab kuchh has been politicised these days.. to kaun milega!!
Someone who is real unbiased aur duniya ki moh maaya se pare!

And which shameful act are you talking about, i am not aware actually.. so please elaborate a bit yaar!

yaar simba Lok ayukta bill should be known to person who watches ndtv247 man carefully coz about 2-3 months ago it was in news.yesterday only the chief justice has said the judges should be kept out of it.Watch Ndtv read hindu brther.
About the nonpolitical persons i mean persons not affliated to any political party,men of repute in any field take army as an eg. our governor rodrigues.
