Describes how to set lower voltages for ur processor so that ur laptop generates lesser heat and battery runs longer...
Seems to be good but they have used an AMD machine as their test machine, so the effect should, IMHO, be even better in intel machines cuz AMD already has cool n quiet technology which lowers the voltage to the processor when not required, so the effect is seen only in high stress stages in this case...

IIRC, Intel has had voltage scaling technology in their processors since the Pentium IIIs. They call it the SpeedStep(TM) technology. Check it out:

BTW, if anyone is interested in reading on why DVS (dynamic voltage scaling) algorithms are advantageous for a microarchitecture, they might want to read one of the most seminal papers on DVS.
