Jus heard the news.. Pramod Mahajan , senior BJP leader and once christened the "Laxman of BJP" has succumbed to his bullet shot injuries at Hinduja Hospital Mumbai

For the uninitiated, he was Shot more than twice by his brother on 22nd April over a minor issue that pramod asked him to see his PA for an appointment to meet him.

Pramod was like an adhesive in the BJP that has lately been subject to various hardcore internal differences. He also united RSS with BJP and was very close both to Atal bihari Vajpayee and L.K.Advani, and was foreseen as the future president of the party....

May god let his soul Rest in Peace... Amen!

Although i wasnt a big fan of his tactics,neither the way he handled people,
but
he still deserved a better end.If alive he may hv been PM of India one day.

I wasn't a great fan of his either. But, he definitely was a smart, suave chap, and a good speaker. I'd say the BJP, which anyway has a dearth of good leaders, is poorer due to the loss of Mr. Mahajan.

he was a good orator agreed, but was no different from the usual stock of politicians we see.. for a party that thrives on hate, he sure had an ironical end...RIP

Agree with varun on this. But still it was too very ironical. There are other politicians who deserve such a contemptuous end, more than Pramod Mahajan.
