hey i dont know how many of you noticed but a few days back an ad was printed in leading newspapers appealing to all 'alumni and well wishers' of our alma mater to come up with suggestions and any action plans regarding the improvement of our coll...i guess this is a first for any coll and a nice idea too...coz only the ppl on the inside would know the disparity between whats required and what IS...
So why dont we too compile a set of suggestions to improve PEC and send it over to the director on behalf of the Pecobians.com community???What say guys?? Very Happy

yup...i agree...even our civil profs are OK at best...and the books and the curriculum HAS to be revamped PUHLEEZ!i get such a disappointing feeling when i tune in to discovery channel sometimes and they're showing all the engineering marvels that have become a reality using the latest technology...
And i guess even a case study wont hurt much...but for that the onus is on the profs to do some relevant research coz it would be farsi for us yet-to-be engineers otherwise..

The condition in PEC will really struggle to improve until the departmental politics is got rid off..which is no easy job...still tht is beyond the scope of students..so we can do at best 1 thing...wrk hard ourselves

Tarun, the servers are there but they aren't reliable at all. I lost quite a lot of mail (and even placement cell lost quite a bit) because of these servers...Half of the time, the mails were returned back to senders because mail.pec.ac.in didn't respond...
