the site is good, but i am not too sure members can use those as signs..

when I made my sig, it was around 35kb, and a couple of members reported that it was difficult for them. they had dialup internet and therefore it made things difficult for them.

i reduced the image size and resolution, now it is 14kb.

So anyone looking to setup sigs, please pay attention to that while selecting ur images.

most of the animations on that site are big. I am working on another sig, trying to get it around 10k if possible.

i think both of the ones i have together are around 60k .. should load fast even on a dialup i believe.. but ur motive is pretty good.. if we can reduce these to 10k .. it will b awesome ..

The problem is that when I make the type of sig I want in fireworks and export it, I can't get the size down without losing the resolution. The lower resolutions become very blurred.

Lets see what can I come up with. Which software do u use for graphics work?

i use jasc paintshop pro .. and fireworks .. i will try too .. i think it works if u resize the pixels and do a bilinear resample .. see in the options while resizing .. shud work..

thanks, will give i a try. If u want I could make a sample one for u or any other member who is interested.

It will help u to get started with ur own inividual sig. Having something to build on is easier than starting from scratch.
