When I heard about cd-burners for the first time i was in my 2nd yr at PEC. The best one at that time was supposed to be of HP and it cost Rs.17000.

I couldn't understand that why would anyone need a cd-burner. How many cds would u burn in ur whole life time 10-15.

well, how times have changed. I recently got my new DVD burner. I had a CD burner for that last 3 yrs and have given it to my brother. his burner was on the fritz.

I have around 500-600 gigs worth of data, movies, soongs etc on my dvds. I download and burn around 10-20 gigs of data per month. in fact in the past 3 months i have downloaded around 260 gigs.

what about the other members. how many of you own one?

hey .. 10 - 20 gigs .. thats quite a lot yaar ..
anyways .. i have a LG CD Burner .. works quite well ..
but i think the best out there are the ones by ASUS ..

hey, got broadband here. last monts downloaded all 7 seasons of StarTrek Voyager. that alone is around 63 gigs (9 each)

after comin here my MP3 collection skyrocketed to 3500+ Mp3s in just 4 months.. also i have more than 55Gigs of movies... heheh

keep it goin' man.........i have got all seasons of south park, star trek voyager, batman TAS, CSI (Las Vegas - Original), X-men evolution, He-Man.

Getting seasons of Batman Beyond, StarTrek right now. got about half of BB and 1st season of startrek TOS.

apart from this got over a 150+ movies, documentaries, comedy hbo specials.

and of course, then there is.........."XXtra Cirricular Activities". some of them i am collecting for my friend in India. Whenever, i get a chance i am going to send it to him.

recently started downloading comics (scanned in jpegs). wanted to read them, but they are very expensive. Got all of batman comics till date, right from year 1. also am downloading x-men and spiderman comics.

well sometimes i get ideas from my contacts too. the comics i started searching properly after a friend asked me where he could get them.

when i started my library collection, it was due to my brother. he needed a couple of books.......excel and access for his accounting work.

i forgot to ask. are the he-man comics from the new series or the old one.

i remember he-man, as the first superhero cartoon i saw on tv. we used to be in delhi then and i think i came every friday evening.

i have been a fan since. even the new series was great. although they ended it after 2 seasons.

haven't seen sin-city as yet. waiting for a good print.

had seen one he-man movie. i think courthey cox was the heroine in that. he-man comes to earth in that.

I have a LG CD-burner. I find it the best there is . Unlike many others it does not suffer from the tray problem which is a total hell.

I have seen the heman movie, it comes on HBO sometimes. It is a total waste of time. Bad colours bad costumes and even worse actors.

my cd burner was from lg and so is the dvd burner. good products.

as for the movie, i liked it when i saw it as a kid. i was in 6th grade then. but i wouldn't want to see it now. maybe if one is made anew then it would be a different thing.

I have an ASUS Cd writer and a DVD ROM Drive and thats cuz someone around here, said the combos suck big time......


And hey, one thing, do SAMSUNG and toshiba have a collaboration of some kind, the DVD Rom displays SAMSUNG on the hardware and R-Studio displays the info as a Toshiba DVD ROM...............???????
