Hey guys do add the Chat room in here

I feel the chat room should be here in the site so that the all pecobians can atleast Chat here...

If u want to chat with a particular member, pm him/her or contact through their yahoo/msn id.

if you want to discuss a particular topic with all the members u can just start a thread.

This topic has been discussed with the admin in detail and hopeful will be implemented soon. Elements 05 is taking time of these guys.

agree with ya .. thats what the pm's are for Wink

anwz if the admins are going to have a specialised chat room, then plz don't go for a java one .. very few people have the java plugin installed . so it won't be of much benefit ... just my 2 rupees

i am a member of a couple of other forums and one of them has recently added a shoutbox (rather a whole page). but i don't use it and i think very few members do.

PMs and thread are an ideal setup for me. If we introduce chatting then i feel that it will lead to smaller groups being formed and the whole thing about "altogether" will be lost. the same way things were in when we were in pec.

there is no heirarchy here based on any batch, sex, branch or anything. and i would like to maintain that. I can interact with my seniors in the same as i do with my juniors and batchmates.

I would like to end by saying that personally I am not in a favor of a chat room here.

Hi vasu,

Pecobians.com will be revamped in the coming days (maybe after the sems).
Along with lots of new features, we might as well introduce a chat module.
We could have started one right now but it doesn't supports multiple rooms & one to one chat ( which most of us look for hehe.. Wink).
