Well this a long running fantasy series not unlike 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'. In total there are 41 books that I am aware of that contain main plots, sub plots and short stories about a disc like world supported by 4 giant elephants that stand on a cosmic size turtle A'Tuin. The world was its own weird way of defining direction. Considers magic to be logic and science its opposite. It infact is a collection of parodies of almost all the fantasy genre. Humourous and detailed as much as the LOTR books. Here gods are blamed rather than worshipped. Just like Hitchhiker's after each 5th or so line there is a twist in the plot.

If one has time during the summer, this series will keep you entertained.

@shantz
I dont like audiobooks. That are large in size and dont have the text along with them for reference.
Mind you there is a sequence you need to maintain to get the best of the series. This is so since a lot of the books are in sub series, some have plot connections and all.

Another book by him not related to discworld is 'The Unadulterated Cat'. It iis nowadays quite famous for its humour content.
